ED’S STORY – film series
Dr. Ed Dobson was doing what he loved — leading a large church in Grand Rapids, Michigan — when he was given 2–5 years to live. Diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease), Ed was devastated and fell into deep despair.
Fast-forward ten years: Ed is still alive, but the journey has profoundly altered his perspective on things like worry and friendship, identity and forgiveness, healing and gratitude. Honest and hopeful, Ed’s Story is a series of five short films that share Ed’s remarkable, difficult, but beautiful journey.
Taproot Pictures has partnered with Flannel, Inc. and David C. Cook to create and distribute these films around the world. The films may be purchased at store.flannel.org and via numerous retailers.
