Karl says that he found his calling when he started Taproot as a second career. Now, he leads the team, making sure everything comes together in a way that serves the project and the client. Karl is married to Jennifer, and together they have three full-time children.

Matthew serves at Taproot’s lead editor, oversees much of the post-production process, and has a remarkably well-trained eye for color. His strong visual approach to storytelling is a great resource in the concepting phase. Matthew is newly married to Abby.

Josh is an experienced brand manager. He cut his teeth producing films for small businesses and is dedicated to the creative process, while also making sure to deliver a great customer experience. He lives in Okemos, MI with his wife Kourtney.

Hailey is a Georgia native and production management wizard. She makes sure every projects crosses the finish line. She tackles the communication between client and creative. You’ll also catch her on set making sure everything goes smoothly.

Brent brings a design background to the team. It shows up in everything he touches, which is usually animation, visual effects and motion graphics. He adds the finishing polish to many of Taproot’s projects. He’s also an amazing drummer, which doesn’t hurt either.
