Brett Warkentien is homegrown talent from the hard-working Midwest. His youth was dominated by a combination of sports and art, providing him a unique set of sensibilities, informing his directorial style. After studying film and design, he made a career as an agency creative until he pivoted to his true passion: directing.

One of Taproot Pictures' Michigan-based commercial directors, Brett is a no-brainer for lifestyle content, bringing a versatile and visually grounded approach to any spot. On set this translates to a collaborative presence that agencies and clients trust to find the moment.
