Brett Warkentien grew up in the hard-working Midwest. Where sports and art dominated his youth. So much so, that it gave him a unique set of sensibilities for his craft. After studying film and design, he made a career as an agency creative until his passion led him to pursue directing.

One of Taproot Pictures' Michigan-based commercial directors, Brett is a no-brainer for lifestyle content, bringing a versatile and visually grounded approach to any spot. On set this translates to a collaborative presence that agencies and clients trust to find the moment. Brett looks forward to working with partners who are bold and willing to push the boundaries of storytelling.
